Yay…Spring is here! And so am I….

So it’s been a while since I was in blog land.  I’ve missed it…I really have!! But what can you do….life happens!  Sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s a little more hectic!  One thing is for sure time carries on and I can’t believe spring is here already!

Luckily one of my favourite challenges is still going strong and has helped me get back in to things.  Less is More has a fab lucky dip challenge this week  and they have beautiful picture to inspire us.  Lovely spring colours to use and a good opportunity for me to play with my ink dusters!

Less is Moore

I had the good fortune to meet Deby from Inkylicious at the NEC the other week and she let me have a go at this technique.  I’ll admit it….I’ve had ink dusters since seeing Deby demo at the Dome in Doncaster a couple of years ago, but have only just realised how effective this technique is.  And so much easier than brayering.  Stampin’ Up inks are perfect!  I’ve used Pear Pizazz, Old Olive, Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo…in fact, if it was green or pink, I probably used it!  A bit of masking, and the beautiful Pocket Silhouttes and without too much effort, a beautiful card.  I’ve finished it off with a bit of liquid pearls and glitter and a beautiful sentiment (from Inkylicious too!).

I’m also entering this in:

Make it Monday {Linky Party}
Simon Says {Anything Goes}
Great Impressions {Lots of flowers}

So hope you like it!  Thank for sticking with me over the last couple of months!  Hope you come back soon.
