Flowers!

Morning!

A quick post before we're out to the garden centre again!  We're determined to have thegarden sorted for summer!

I've used Petite Petals and Gorgeous Grunge from Stampin' Up to make these CAS cards.  I'm entering this card in the Flowers Challenge over on Wags n Whiskers.

Melon Mambo

I may have hit the grunge a little hard on the first one (above) so I laid off it for this one.  I took the sentiment from Butterfly Basics.  It's a good size!  I'm entering this card in the Space Challenge on Inkspirational.

Cajun Craze

Right - off to garden centre!

Tags!

Afternoon!  Still going strong with challenges...after 3 days!  Today, I'm not quite sure I've hit the mark for the Less is More Challenge this week: to include a TAG on your project!

It includes a tag, just not sure it's as Less is More as it can be.  It's all stamped with the Butterfly Basic stampset from Stampin' Up.  I've cased this card from a stampinRoyalty.blogspot.com (Carrie Rhoades).  What do you think....?

......I'll get my coat!

Krafty Bouquets

Hello!

Just got time for one last challenge today!  I love using kraft card so CAS-ual Fridays challenge is right up my street this week.  Krafty Bouquets using kraft, flowers and twine.

Cajun Craze goes brilliantly with kraft card.  I've grouped it with Crumb Cake and Riding Hood Red using the Flower Patch stamps for this card.

I created different versions of this card for Easter....not very good photos (they're all package up and ready to sell) but you get the idea :-)

I'm also entering these in the Quick and Easy Does It Challenge on the Allsorts Challenge Blog.

Ombre?

Ok - I've heard of ochre, but ombre?  That conjures up images of mexican bandits in a spaghettii western!!

So after admitting my ignorance (and having a quick google) I got the "shady" reference made by CAS-ology and made these for their Ombre Challenge this week.

It's cheating a little bit as these colours come perfectly blended courtesy of the local DIY store. I've punched the butterflies out of paint sample cards :-)

Stampin' Up Butterfly Punch
Pretty in Pink

 Likewise with the dragonflies....
Wisteria Wonder
...and with Stampin' Up's Petite Petal punch.
Petite Petals
Early Espresso

So I hope I've interpreted this correctly!

I'm entering these in the following challenges too:

Clean &Simple Challenge on Cute Card Thursday
Up, Up and Away Challenge on Less is More
Things with Wings Challenge on Uniko.

New Start!

OK - here we go again!  It's been a while since I did any challenges so thought I'd ease into it with a "Anything Goes".  I love 'em!

It gives me an opportunity to use the Six-sided Sampler and punch from Stampin' Up.  I bought the punch to make honeycombe for a special ordered card....haven't really used it since!!  I struggled with the question...."why hexagons on a birthday card?"  but I think these work :-)

This has a vintage look to it....so I also tried some brighter coloured ones.

Island Indigo

Rose Red

I'm going to enter these in the Anything Goes challenge on Addicted to Stamp.
