Summer!

Morning!

I've had a go at the "Tan, White and one bright color" challenge on Cas-ual Fridays today.  I chose to go with a bright pink.  Nothing says summer more than pink! But I found it hard not to keep reaching for my other colours.  In my head, this card was far more dramatic!!  But sticking with the rules of the challenge here it is:

The Crazy Challenge : Children's Games

So glad  I saw The Crazy Challenge this week.  It's Children's Games.  It reminded me of stamps I have from many moons ago....and with Father's Day in mind I've picked all the boy games from my collection.

I'm entering the one above in the challenge.  It's my favourite one, but I thought I'd post the others too...they're like a set :-)

I'm also entering this in the Colourful Challenge on The Paper Shelter. It maybe CAS, but it's a lovely coloured pic - even if I say so myself :-)

I'm entering the rugby player in Crafty Sentiments Challenge where they are looking for a cards for a Man!

I'm entering this on the the Papertake Weekly Challenge - Something for the boys.

 I'm also entering the young footballer on the Clear it Out Challenge where they have an Anything Goes challenge...and these stamps are definitely from my stash.  It's nice to give them an airing!

New Stampin' Up Colours!

Evening all

I've been checking out the CAS Colour and Sketch Challenge following my success the other week. This week we''re challenged to use the newest Stampin' Up Colours.

Yeah....I'd love to have them too but I'm still waiting on my order coming through!  So instead I've used the nearest colours I have which are Calypso Coral, Baja Breeze and good ol' Crumb Cake :-)

I've punched these heart balloons out of the designer papers from Salebration, the string of the balloon is from Hello Life and the birthday greeting is from Butterfly Basics.  I think that set is definitely my favourite at the mo....until I get my new order at least :-)

So I'm entering this in to the CAS Colour and Sketches Challenge.

I'm also entering this on the Clear it Out Challenge where they have an Anything Goes challenge.

Faux Stitching

Morning All

Occasionally, friends ask us to make personalised cards and I photo cards are usually a favourite....especially for kids.  I made this for my lovely friend's little sister.  We all recently went to see Disney on Ice and like any other self-respecting little girl (mine included) Aman is a huge Elsa fan.  Using one of the layout ideas from Craft Artist I've made this memento....and I heard she loved it.

I'm entering this in to the challenge with the Crafty Card Makers this week....Stitching, Faux or Real.  I hope you like it :-)
