One Layer Challenge - Woohoo!

I like the one layer challenges.  They really are a challenge to me!  The challenge on Less is More these week was a double whammy challenge for me cos it's also The Eyes Have it!

Having hunted high and low for something with eyes in my stash I found a stamp set I had from years back when my boys were younger....cute dinosaurs!

And here it is:

Using a similar technique to Chrissie, I stamped the cutie first then masked him.  I used PostIt notes to mask the circle off and sponged the background with Bashful Blue and Pacific Point with a little Daffodil Delight thrown in to lighten it.

I then removed all the masks and coloured the dinosaur in and embossed lines across the card to add interest.  Finally I added a Real Red greeting from Endless Birthday Wishes.
