Happy Eas….oh…

Just like Christmas…I’ve missed sharing all the little things I made for the kids and friends!  *sigh*

Here’s a couple of pics of our Easter Table anyways:

I’ve made the flowers for the centre piece using the Stampin’ Up flower punch.  Let me know if you want to know how to make them and I’ll add a photo tutorial to my page.
The little egg place names I made by accident, while trying to figure out a box.  I eventually made the boxes too…but can’t find my photos of those!
And Annie made the lovely flower confetti for me…it’s a fab way to keep a 5 year old busy while making dinner :-).
So only a quick share today….back with some more makes later

More Ink Dusting for Easter…

….I’m addicted!!  I’m using it at every opportunity :-).

After seeing my first attempts, my dad asked me to make some little bookmarks to give out to friends at Easter time.  So in the lifetime strife for parental approval I just had to oblige :-)

 

I’ve made these the size of an ATCs and although they are all very similar to each other I love the fact that you never get two exactly the same!  I just love the technique!  The only downsize is the inky fingers after you’ve finished…heheheh.

I’ll be demo’ing this technique at my next workshop on 28th April 2012.  Watch out for details.

Happy Easter to all you Good Eggs!

Well we’ve had a fantastic day today!! With this terrific weather we’ve been hill trekking and picnicking most the day and I can’t believe I’ve worn the kids out!  Maybe it’s the heat but they were glad to get home into the shade!

I’ve been busy most the night sorting stuff for the Wedding Fayre on Sunday, but I’ve taken a break to make this card using “A Good Egg” Stamp Set to wish you all a Happy Easter!
I’ve used white, Real Red and Daffodil Yellow card, inks and DSP Patterns stack.  I’ve stamped the little flowers onto an A6 tent fold card and then matted white card on to Daffodil yellow, trimmed it with ribbon and adhered it to the front of the card with dimensionals.  I’ve stamped the cute chick three times…onto the white card, daffodil yellow and real red DSP paper. Then I’ve paper-pieced him together to give him some dimension.
I think he’s cute….and it was really easy and quick to make.
